Applicants are advised that the Ministry of Defence (MoD) is still accepting applications to the Families in Stress priority of the Covenant Fund.
The Ministry of Defence’s £10 million Armed Forces Covenant Fund supports the armed forces community across the UK.
The funding is for projects that support families of serving personnel who are experiencing a significant stressful life event and would benefit from an involvement from a support group or similar organiser who can offer specialised, localised/easily accessible and immediate support.
These life events can cover various aspects including:
- Life-changing injury,
- Bereavement,
- Domestic Abuse,
- Relationship Break-up,
- Those subject to the civil or service justice system
- Mental health issues.
Grants of between £20,000 and £300,000 are available for programmes of work lasting between two to three years.
Set out as a two stage process, the deadline for Expressions of Interest is midday on 26th June 2017.
