Arts and Health Funding from D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust

20-Oct-2017

The deadline is fast approaching for grants from The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, to provide funding for Arts, Health and Environmental projects.

Established in 1972, The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust was established to support the personal interests of the late Dame Bridget D’Oyly Carte (1908-1985). These interests included included her enjoyment of theatre, music and gardening; in particular, helping disadvantaged and disabled children.

The Trust continues her legacy to this day, through its available grant programmes.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support organisations that work in the following areas:

  • The arts
  • Health and medical welfare
  • Environmental protection or improvement

The Trust will consider applications for core costs or projects, and they also consider applications for matched funding.

The deadline for applications this season is 23rd October 2017, with further dates to be announced later.

For more information and how to apply, visit the Charitable Trust’s website.
