The British Phonographic Industry will be reopening its call for applications from music companies to provide funding to assist them with marketing campaigns
when looking to introduce successful UK music projects overseas.
British Phonographic Industry (BPI) is the trade association for the British recorded music industry. They represents the UK’s recorded music industry and as a trade body, it champions the interests of its membership which includes more than 300 independent music companies and the UK’s major record companies, including Universal Music, Sony Music, and Warner Music.
Grants of up to £50,000 are available to assist UK-registered independent music companies with marketing campaigns when looking to introduce successful UK music projects overseas.
Eligible project costs that the monies can cover include:
- Marketing costs (including advertising and PR)
- Tour support or venue costs including inter-national travel
- Visa costs
- International promotion costs including hire of session musicians/ singers etc. for television performances
With round 18 recently closed, the next round will be announced later this year.
