Connecting Culture and Communities - Upcoming Conferences from Stronger Kent Communities

03-Jun-2019

Regional consortium Stronger Kent Communities is hosting a series of conferences this season to provide networking opportunities for local organisations and share expertise.

Stronger Kent Communities (SKC) provides available support and resources to VCS organisations and enterprise within the Kent region. They do this through engaging with voluntary organisations, introducing them to the people and resources they need to make positive change, championing and representing them before local Governing Bodies or Authorities; and being available to provide specialist advice and support.

SKC continue their series of conferences and seminars in the region covering topics such as fundraising, social media, governance, communication, campaigning, volunteer recruitment, retention and management.

Designed for various participants, associates and supporters of VCSE groups, SKC say there would be panel discussions with keynote speakers at the conferences, together with networking breakfast and lunch.

Their next event will be the Connecting Culture and Communities conference at Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone, on 5th November 2019, from 10am till 3pm.

Admission is £5 including lunch and refreshments. Further details are available at SKC’s Eventbrite portal.

For more information, you can contact Emma Cooney, SKC Events Organiser, by email at emma@strongerkentcommunities.org.uk, or visit the SKC website.
