Funding Available from Youth Music’s Grants Programme

Applications are currently being taken for the Youth Music’s grants programme to provide funding for music-making projects in England.

Youth Music is a registered charity who uses their expertise to invest in music-making projects that support children and young people in challenging circumstances across the country.

They distribute funds received from Arts Council England, as well as do fundraising themselves: This allows them increase the number of projects they can help.

For this season, they are offering grants to registered charities and similar organisations for music-making activities that achieve personal, social and musical outcomes for children and young people in challenging circumstances; grants of between £2,000 and £30,000 are available for between six and 24 months.

Their grants programme will support

  • Developmental music-making projects for children and young people
  • The strategic work to support the development of the workforce, organisations and the wider sector

The deadline for applications is 18th August 2017, with other dates to be announced for other programmes later in the year.
