Funding from The Pargiter Trust

The Pargiter Trust are providing funding to support groups who help disadvantaged older people to be independent, healthy and socially included.

The Pargiter Trust will provide funding to non-profit organisations including charities and voluntary groups who are providing support to elderly people across Kent.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for charitable and voluntary organisations in Kent to provide activities which support disadvantaged older people who are over 65 years of age so they are independent, healthy and socially included.

The fund is especially interested in hearin from groups in areas of greatest need in Kent; and to include focus of underrepresented BAME and LGBT groups where possible.

The sentiment from Kent Community Foundation (KCF), who are hosting the funding, is that grants are intended to support existing services or facilities, new initiatives, capital costs (e.g. new equipment) or ongoing costs (e.g. running costs) of projects.

Because the scheme can be seen as a continuous rolling programme; there is no deadline and so applications can be accepted throughout 2017.

For more information and how to apply; visit the KCF website, you can contact a member of the KCF Grants Team via email at or call 01303 814500.
