Grants Available from Veolia Environmental Trust – Spring 2019

The Veolia Environmental Trust has recently relaunched their call for applications from organisations to provide funding for local community projects.

Grants of up to £75,000 are available for projects located within the proximity of a qualifying Veolia site.

Use the Veolia postcode checker to confirm your area.

Funding is available to:

  • Community buildings and rooms: e.g. community centres, village halls, community spaces within religious buildings, Scouts or Girl-guide buildings
  • Outdoor spaces: e.g. public parks, nature reserves, community gardens, footpaths, bridleways or cycle paths
  • Play and recreation: e.g. play areas, skate parks, Multi use Games areas (MUGAS) sports grounds, pavilions or changing rooms

Veolia does advise the projects must be open to the wider general public for at least 104 days a year

Although the scheme can be seen as a continuous rolling project, and applications could be accepted at any time, Veolia do point out because their Board of Trustees meet and consider applications only FOUR times a year, they advise their next deadline is 30th May 2019, with further dates to announced later in the year.

For more information you can contact Veolia Environmental Trust on 020 3567 6820. You can also email the Trust at, drop them a line on Twitter, or visit their website.
