Heritage Lottery Fund Changes its Funding for Places of Worship in England

24-Jul-2017

The Heritage Lottery Fund has announced that it is changing the way it provides funding for places of worship in England.

The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has recently issued a statement that from September 2017 it will no longer be providing funding for places of worship through its Grants for Places of Worship programme.

Instead, the funding will be provided through their existing Our Heritage Programme (grants of up to £100,000) and Heritage Grants programme (up to £5 million).

The programme has one more opportunity for applications to the HLF Grants for Places of Worship scheme before it closes to new applications on 1 September 2017.

HLF advises the remaining deadline for new applications is 14th August 2017.

For more information, visit the Heritage Lottery website.
