Introducing Jan Galloway at MVA27-Feb-2020
MVA are proud to welcome Jan Galloway to her new appointment with the MVA team.
We have asked Jan to write a few words to introduce herself:
“I just wanted to introduce myself as the new Business Development Support Officer at Medway Voluntary Action (MVA). I am taking over from Steve Kemp, who I am sure many of you knew and worked with during his time at MVA.
“I have previously worked in Medway as a commissioner for Medway Council and Medway CCG so have a good understanding of the landscape that the not for profit sector is working within. I have also worked within the not for profit sector as a direct provider supporting children and adults with a range of support needs, including learning and physicaldisabilities, sensory impairment, mental health, substance misuse and homelessness.
“I am looking forward to meeting and working with you over the next few months. For those of you unsure of what my role involves, part of it is to support and develop the sustainability of new and existing not for profit organisations. This can be done through a variety of means including the provision of support and information sharing on subjections such as organizational set up, governance and fundraising.
“I will be working closely with other colleagues at MVA to deliver support as well as liaising with my voluntary and not for profit colleagues to better understand the support you would like.”
If you would like to contact Jan for any help and support, please call on 01634 812850, or by email at email@example.com for attention of Jan Galloway.
Welcome Jan! We are very excited to have you on board!
