19-Aug-2020
The Medway Safeguarding Children Partnership has recently published their latest Bulletin, providing news of the work and events within the Partnership.
Previously known as the Medway Safeguarding Children Board, Medway Safeguarding Children Partnership (MSCP) is the statutory multi-agency organisation that works to help make sure that children are safeguarded properly by agencies working effectively together.
Their membership still includes senior representatives from Medway Council, all Medway health bodies, Kent Police, Medway schools, voluntary organisations, and many others.
They have recently published the latest issue of their Safeguarding Bulletin, which showcases the work and events within the Partnership.
Highlights include a review of children’s counselling and therapeutic services in Medway, outlining a range of Schools programmes focused on health and wellbeing that are offered by Medway Council Public Health (Further information is available by email at childhealth@medway.gov.uk); and a profile on support specialists Choices, providing details from some of the many programmes they run designed to provide help and support to adults and young people who have been abused in West Kent and Medway.
The Partnership’s Summer Bulletin, as well as previous issues, is available to download from the MSCP website.
