Latest News from Medway Safeguarding Children Board – Summer 2019


Medway Safeguarding Children Board (MSCB) has recently released their Mid-Spring Bulletin, providing news of the work and events within MSCB.

Based in Chatham, Medway Safeguarding Children Board (MSCB) is the statutory multi-agency organisation that works to help make sure that children are safeguarded properly by agencies working effectively together.

Their membership includes senior representatives from Medway Council, all Medway health bodies, Kent Police, Medway schools, voluntary organisations, and many others.

They have recently published their latest issue of their MSCB Bulletin, which showcases the work and events within The Board.

Highlights include the announcement of The Kent and Medway Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Executive consulting on a document detailing strategies for preventing and reducing domestic abuse within Kent and Medway regions; with an aim to making sure that when people experience abuse, they can access the important help they need; Recently opened, the consultation and the opportunity to have your say on the draft Strategy will continue till 30th September 2019.
