New Dates Announced for Early Help Courses from Medway Council13-Jul-2017
The Early Help Transformation Team has recently announced new dates for their continuing series FREE Early Help courses for this season.
As reported previously, the Early Help Transformation Team, part of Medway Council, have been offering a series of FREE training courses designed for those working with children and families across Medway.
The Team have recent announced a set of new dates for the series of Early Help courses for practitioners, managers, and similar staff who work with children and families.
Early Help Awareness Training
This course is aimed at those working with families and children who need an awareness of Early Help but will not be completing Early Help Assessments. For example, school secretaries or children’s centre receptionists.
There are morning and afternoon sessions are available, between 9.30am and 11.30am and 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
The next date for this course is 26th July 2017 (Venue : Medway Council, Gun Wharf).
Early Help for Managers Training
Aimed at managers who have staff who work directly with children and families.
There are morning and afternoon sessions are available, again between 9.30am and 11.30am and 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
The date for this course is Thursday 20th July 2017, and will be held at Gun Wharf.
Early Help Assessment Practitioner Training
Designed for all practitioners who work directly with children and families; and have responsibility for completion of Early Help Assessments, or CAF/TAF paperwork.
This is a FULL DAY session running between 9:15am till 4pm.
Spaces are currently available on these dates: 14th, 17, 18th, 24th July.
Medway Council has advised that places are limited, and suggest booking your place as soon as possible.

There is no charge to attend any Early Help training, although a non-attendance fee of £80 may be levied if delegates fail to provide 5 working days notice of non-attendance.
