New Grants for Small Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Organisations – April 2019

New grants for enterprises, community groups, charities and similar organisations will shortly be available across the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).

Awarded by the ESFA under their Community Grants Scheme via European Social Fund (ESF) funding; new grants of up to£20,000 will shortly be available for VCSE and small organisations supporting unemployed or inactive adults.

For the Kent, Medway, East Sussex, Essex, Thurrock and Southend the allocation of grants is being managed by CXK.

The funding is for organisations that help people progress towards employment or learning and training.

This may be through first contact engagement activities; projects which improve confidence, motivation and social integration such as sport, gardening, music or art; the development of local networks and groups to support people to get a job or access learning; or softer skills development.

Launching in early April 2019, the grants will ideally be directed for organisations that work to help four key priority groups; this includes people over 50, individuals with disabilities, people from ethnic minorities and females.

If you wish to register to receive full details on the grants and how to access them, CXK ask you send your contact details by email to
