New Name, Same Mission – Introducing The Bulletin from MSCP


The Medway Safeguarding Children Partnership has recently relaunched their Bulletin, providing news of the work and events within MSCP.

Previously known as the Medway Safeguarding Children Board, Medway Safeguarding Children Partnership (MSCP) is the statutory multi-agency organisation that works to help make sure that children are safeguarded properly by agencies working effectively together.

Their membership still includes senior representatives from Medway Council, all Medway health bodies, Kent Police, Medway schools, voluntary organisations, and many others.

They have recently published the relaunch of their Safeguarding Bulletin, which showcases the work and events within The Partnership.

Highlights include further background details to introduce the Partnership; as well as announcements detailing future courses and awareness events being hosted by the Partnership, including their Intermediate Child Protection Training aimed at develop a participant’s existing knowledge base to safeguard children and promote their welfare; and the Partnership’s DASC Training which, amongst various other outcomes, is designed to help professionals and practitioners alike recognise and respond to the factors linked with domestic abuse.
