NEW video-conferencing COVID-19 support session for VCS launching

25-Mar-2020

Medway Voluntary Action (MVA) are working to develop alternative 'virtual' support for the sector - with resources and a range of information to help with all the demands you may be facing in working with vulnerable people affected by the COVID-19 virus.

MVA have also been working with Public Health on the Medway Community Hub set up to respond to this crisis, and other partners who may deliver resources. Key to us all being able to respond in the most effective way is to share information, to problem solve together and to maximise the use of resources.

For this reason MVA will host a new weekly video-conference session on Zoom and you are welcome to join this conference to talk to us and join your peers facing the same issues.

The first of these meetings will be on Friday 27th March at 10.00. If you want to join this session, please contact MVA and they will send you an invitation. The format for these sessions will be in your hands - for example, content of meetings can remain confidential or MVA can act as a conduit to pass your concerns and issues on to the statutory sector who may be able to help. A joined up approach is vital now – join MVA this Friday morning.

If you need help using Zoom (www.zoom.us) for the first time, MVA have created a simple guide to get started - click here to view the guide.
