Our News – Spring Edition of Medway Parkinson’s UK Newsletter Now Available, January 2020


The Medway Branch of Parkinson’s UK has published the January edition of their Working Age Group Newsletter, providing coverage of local issues and events.

Part of the Medway Neurological Network, The Medway Branch of Parkinson’s UK work to help defend and improve the level of health and care services for people with neurological conditions, as well as promote and provide support services, therapies and similar projects; working toward improving the health& well-being of those living with neurological conditions in Medway.

Highlights in the newsletter include Phil’s New Year Message including announcements for upcoming events in 2020; The expansion of the UK Government’s Blue Badge Scheme to include people with ‘hidden conditions’, meaning people living with illnesses such as Parkinson's, Dementia and Epilepsy are now eligible; and the Launch of the Rochester Neuro Café at Jaspers Community Café in Eastgate (ME1 1EW)
