Small Grants Programme from Alcohol Research UK

08-Sep-2017

Alcohol Research UK is still accepting applications for the annual funding round of their Small Grants programme.

Alcohol Research UK's Small Grants programme offers grants for exploratory projects which look to work on the growing issues in alcohol research, and work to introduce original or methodological approaches, or pilot new work in treatment or service delivery.

Grants of up to £8,000 are available for stand-alone projects that last for up to 12 months.

Researchers who are employed in the UK by organisations such as universities, colleges, other academic institutions, local authorities, voluntary organisations and the police are all eligible to apply; as well as probation and health authorities.

Alcohol Research UK asks that applicants can show they have sufficient knowledge and skills to complete the proposed project, and depending on the nature of the proposed work, this may be either academic or other work-based experience; they also advise that all applicants should consult the Research Strategy available on the Alcohol Research UK's website before applying.

Considered once a year, the absolute deadline for applications is midnight on 13th September 2017.

For more information and how to apply, visit the Alcohol Research website.
