Strengthening Local Organisations –The Comic Relief Community Fund from Groundwork10-Dec-2019
Comic Relief continuing to accept applications to offer grants to grassroots community organisations.
Looked after by Groundwork, The Comic Relief Community Fund (England), is offering two types of grants to grassroots community organisations with an income of less than £250,000.
The grants are available to organisations that work around on one of Comic Relief’s strategic themes:
- Children Survive & Thrive
- Fighting for Gender Justice
- A Safe Place to Be
- Mental Health Matters
Designed to strengthen local organisations to drive community projects forward, the funding is available through two strands:
Capacity Building Grants (up to £500)
Designed to support a wide range of activities, from developing better organisational governance, policies and procedures, through to increasing organisational delivery capacity.
Project Delivery Grant (up to £4,000)
Aimed at supporting grassroots organisations to deliver projects that address Comic Relief’s four strategic themes (as listed above).
Because the Grants scheme is a continuous rolling programme; there is no deadline and so applications can be accepted at any time.
