Tackling Social Exclusion - Tech Company Offers Free Event Tickets

Digital company Tickets for Good is working to help thousands of people enjoy gigs, performances and events through its recently launched online ticket donation platform.

Tickets for Good has launched The Ticket Bank - an online platform where event organisers can donate spare tickets to the website to be distributed for free in partnership with charities and local community groups.

The Ticket Bank provides free tickets to people who receive help from the growing number of charities that are currently registered on the platform; they work with event organisers and distribute donated event tickets that would be otherwise unused.

For a lot of people, being able to get to live music gigs, theatre performances and other events is sometimes impossible because of financial constraints, care commitments or social exclusion. The Ticket Bank programme is intended to help people overcome these barriers so they can go out and have the chance to enjoy events.

The Ticket Bank has formed partnerships with charities and event organisers in Sheffield, Manchester, London, Bristol and York and it is continuing to expand its network.

Registered charities and non-profit community groups can register on the platform for free, so they can make the most of free event tickets for their clients and people they support.

To find out more, visit The Ticket Bank website.
