The Biology Of Stress And The Science Of Hope: Award-Winning Documentary comes to Medway, March 202021-Feb-2020
Angel Lane CIC, working with other notable partners, will shortly be hosting ‘Resilience’ in Medway as part of their continued work to make Kent and Medway
trauma-informed and resilient.
Resilience, the award-winning documentary by KPJR Films explores the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement.
The film traces the science of ACEs from the important studies carried out in the late-1990s, to the growth of a whole movement to treat and prevent Toxic Stress. It investigates the detrimental impact that ACEs can have on health – in childhood and beyond.
As part of the Making Kent & Medway ACE Aware programme, and together with Public Health Directorate and Medway Council, Angel Lane CIC is hosting an exclusive screening of the award-winning film.
The screening takes place at Mid Kent College, Gillingham Campus, GILLINGHAM, ME7 1FN on Thursday 5th March 2020, from 5pm till 7pm.
