The Biology Of Stress And The Science Of Hope: Award-Winning Documentary comes to Medway, March 2020

Angel Lane CIC, working with other notable partners, will shortly be hosting ‘Resilience’ in Medway as part of their continued work to make Kent and Medway trauma-informed and resilient.

Resilience, the award-winning documentary by KPJR Films explores the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement.

The film traces the science of ACEs from the important studies carried out in the late-1990s, to the growth of a whole movement to treat and prevent Toxic Stress. It investigates the detrimental impact that ACEs can have on health – in childhood and beyond.

As part of the Making Kent & Medway ACE Aware programme, and together with Public Health Directorate and Medway Council, Angel Lane CIC is hosting an exclusive screening of the award-winning film.

The screening takes place at Mid Kent College, Gillingham Campus, GILLINGHAM, ME7 1FN on Thursday 5th March 2020, from 5pm till 7pm.

For more information and to book your place, visit Angel Lane’s Eventbrite portal.
