The Triangle Trust 1949 Re-opens Call for Applications

The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund has opened its call for applications for its 2017 round from specialist community and voluntary organisations working with unpaid carers in the UK.

The Triangle Trust provides funding through its Development Grants programme twice a year to registered charities and other not-for-profit social enterprises and community interest companies in the UK; particularly for groups who support unpaid carers (spring round) and the rehabilitate offenders or ex-offenders (autumn round).

Development Grants provide funds towards any costs experienced by the applicant through the course of its core business, so that sustainable income sources can be created and the organisation’s income will not be reduced when the term of the grant finishes: By example, the grant could be used to allow an organisation to make a step change such as expanding on its income sources or setting up an enterprise to help it become more sustainable in the long term.

Grants are available for up to £80,000 over three years, with a maximum of £35,000 in year one. The amount requested each year is expected to reduce as applicants develop other supportable sources of income.

Reopened recently, the application deadline for this season is midday on 4th May 2017.

For further details, including the online application form, visit The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund website.
