The Way Ahead – Social Prescribing Conference, July 2017
07-Jul-2017
Red Zebra will be hosting a conference on Social Prescribing, exploring the benefits for your organisation and the people with whom you work.
This event, the first in a series of three, will seek to develop and support effective social prescribing going forwards; learning from national best practice and identifying opportunities and challenges to the successful implementation of social prescribing at scale.
This event looks to bring together colleagues from across statutory and voluntary sectors to explore how social prescribing can be introduced locally, and to identify ways in which alliances and partnerships can collaborate to build healthier communities.
Speakers from Health, Kent Police, Social Care, Local Government, NHSE, Encompass, civil society and others are coming together to explore what social prescribing means to them. There will be a marketplace to offer opportunities to learn about existing voluntary and community services and activities.
The event will be taking place at Riverside Church, Thanet Way, Whitstable, between 9.30am and 3.00pm, on Friday 14th July 2017.
Red Zebra advises that spaces are limited, and ask to secure you place for the conference; you can book your ticket online at their
Eventbrite portal.
