To Champion Socially-driven Arts – The Cultural Impact Development Fund by Nesta

19-Nov-2018

Applications are now being taken for a new angle on funding in a worthwhile form of investment for arts, culture and creative industries.

The Cultural Impact Development Fund (CIDF) is a programme which will see a £3.7m fund available to offer affordable, unsecured finance on flexible terms to England’s arts, culture and creative organisations bringing about positive social change in their communities.

Launched recently, this investment funding will be available over a three-year period.

Nesta is offering finance between £25,000 and £150,000 to arts, cultural and creative organisations allowing borrowers to innovate; become stronger financially and become more experienced in monitoring, evaluating and communicating their social impact.

Because there is no given deadline, this programme can be seen as a continuous rolling programme, Nesta says applications would be accepted at any time until August 2021.

For more information, and a how to apply, visit the Nesta website.
