To Simplify Charity Fundraising - Garfield Weston Foundation Launches New Website

The Garfield Weston Foundation recently launched a new website to make process of applying for funding as straightforward as possible for potential applicant charities.

The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded charitable grant-making foundation; they support a wide range of causes across the UK, donating around £60 million per year.

The Foundation has announced the launch of its new mobile-friendly website.

The site features guidelines on many of the aspects of applying for funding that charities find most challenging according to the Foundation’s feedback and experience. It also includes examples to, as well as including presenting fundraising plans and charity finances.

The site shows also clear guidance about core costs; The Foundation’s previous research and experience had shown that the voluntary sector found the scope and availability of core costs funding was challenging to understand, so the new advice on the website aims to help clear up these uncertainties using clear guidelines and case studies.

For more information, as well as the Foundation's new guidelines, visit the Garfield Weston Foundation website.

At MVA, advice and support for the Voluntary Sector in Medway is also available in a range of areas including funding and back office support; which is accessible in the form of toolkits or one-to-one support; as well as specialised training and information provision.
