Vacancies with MVA - Business Development and Befriending based Positions at MVA

MVA are pleased to announce four exciting new vacancies available from the 1st Febuary as follows:

Business Development Support Officer (full time)

Salary £27,000 rising to £28,350 upon completion of a satisfactory probation period

To support the business development activity to achieve sustainability of MVA; to lead on GDPR; to act in an advisory capacity to support VCS organisations’ set-up and sustainability; to be responsible for all reporting function of MVA projects and contracts and to undertake initial project management of new projects.

Befriending Engagement and Volunteering Officer (18.5 hours per week)

Salary £20,572 (pro-rata) rising to (21,650 (pro-rata) upon completion of a satisfactory probation period

To promote the befriending service; recruit, induct, train and supervise community befriending volunteers.To increase engagement with the Befriending Service and support the development of community-led Befriending volunteering and initiatives.

Befriending and Support Officer (18.5 hours per week)

Salary £20,572 (pro-rata) rising to £21,650 (pro-rata) upon completion of a satisfactory probation period

To promote the befriending service; recruit, induct, train and supervise Befriending Hub volunteers and support the development of the Befriending Hub volunteering initiative .

Work with members (Service Users) of the Befriending scheme to provide basic support to help them take action to resolve problems such as those associated with welfare benefits and housing.

Office and Business Development Administrator

Salary £16,701 rising to £17,580 upon completion of a satisfactory probation period.
