Vacancy - Project Manager for Action for Borstal Community (ABC), October 2020

12-Oct-2020

Applications are still being taken for the vacancy of Project Manager for Action for Borstal Community.

Local charity Action for Borstal Community (ABC) work to provide a wide range of services developed for the local community to offer support, encouragement and engagement. Operating for many years, and offering facilities such as benefits advice, help finding work and pre-school activities, they provide various services to the people in Borstal supporting those who need a little extra help, such as single parents, first time families and other groups in the Borstal community.

ABC is looking for a Project Manager to provide administrative support to the Charity.

Based in Rochester, and answering to the Charity’s Chair of Trustees, you would provide administrative support to Charity staff and clients as needed. You will be responsible for book-keeping duties, including payroll, and make sure that all statutory requirements are up-to-date and completed on time.

Outside of identifying possible sources of funds and preparing bids, your other duties would include finding out about local needs so as to advise on services that would benefit centre users and estate residents and establish how the Centre can be further developed.

This would be a rewarding opportunity for someone with an organised, professional outlook, willing to help a happy group of like-minded individuals who share a passion for what they do in the community.

For more information or if you would like to apply, ABC ask you send your CV and supporting statement to Stuart Tranter, the Charity’s Chairman. Call ABC for further details on 01634 817 454 or email enquiries@abcproject.org.uk.
