Applications are currently being taken for a Senior Tenancy Sustenance Officer for Fairways Accommodation Support Trust in Chatham.

The Fairways Accommodation Support Trust work to provide affordable homes; backed up by quality services to meet the needs of the communities they serve.

They offer affordable homes to rent, accommodation for people who need support and care to live within the community. They are currently looking for a Senior Tenancy Sustenance Officer.

Working as part of a team to provide clients with high-quality housing and support services, you will carry out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues, as well as undertaking health and safety checks; and ensure a firm but empathetic approach is taken to support clients to maintain their tenancies.

This would be a rewarding position for someone with experience of working with a range of client groups that includes young people, homeless people / families, people with mental health problems, or people with learning disabilities. Knowledge and understanding of the benefits system is required, and experience of supported housing would also be an advantage.
