Vacancy - Young Persons Outreach Worker at Choices



Applications are being taken for the available new post of Young Person Outreach Worker starting this autumn at Choices based in North and West Kent.

Formerly known as North Kent Women’s Aid, Choices are an independent registered charity who offers a range of specialist domestic abuse services to communities across North & West Kent and Medway.

The outreach service involves one-to-one and group work in North and West Kent. Mainly working in schools, you will be required to provide in depth support to young people, aged 11 to 18 years of age, who have experienced trauma related to domestic abuse. You will also be required to deliver a healthy relationship programme to students.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide an efficient, confidential and professional service; and an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for these roles.

Choices ask that any applicant have a full driving licence and access to their own transport.
