Walk with purpose - The KM Charity Walk 201723-May-2017
Whether just for fun or for a charity of their choice, tickets are now available for the
2017 KM Charity Walk, which sees walkers striding across the Kent countryside, whether just for fun or for a charity of their choice; why not go the extra mile for a good cause?
Staged in Maidstone, the main route of the KM Charity Walk will cover ten miles; from the Grade II listed Georgian mansion, Mote House, through the Kent countryside to Leeds Castle; on Sunday, June 25, 2017.
There will also be a five mile route for those who would like to take on a shorter distance.
There will be goody bags and medals given to everyone who takes part on the day, as well as a special barbecue at the finishing line.
Although the 2017 event marks the walk’s 22nd year, the annual KM Charity Walk is actually the 21st walk being organised as there was a one year gap during its history. The KM Charity Team say they are looking to break all previous records for the number of walkers and the money that is raised for good causes. It is defined as the occasion for family, friends and colleagues to get together for a day out that combines getting active, have fun, as well as take in the Kent scenery.
The sponsorship proceeds will be shared 70-30 between the chosen good cause of those who take part, and also with the children’s road safety work of the KM Charity Team.
So why not go the extra mile for a good cause by joining hundreds of others on annual KM charity walk?
