What Can YOU Do? The Fairbridge Programme from The Prince's Trust

Applications are again being taken for The Prince's Trust Fairbridge Programme, enabling young people to have a better chance and a better start in life.

Do you work with 16-25 year olds who are lacking confidence or just not sure what they want to do? The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge Programme can help!

Specifically for 16 to 25 year olds in mind, The Fairbridge Programme is an opportunity to learn new skills and train.

Delivered through The Prince’s Trust, they provide support every step of the way, offering a mix of group activities and one-to-one support to develop the skills and confidence to move forward.

Starting with a five-day Access course, applicants get the chance to do outdoor adventurous activities, as well as take part in a residential trip.

Once the Access course is complete, they get to choose from lots of different activities: From Sports to Drama, from Photography to Cooking: Fairbridge will work with applicants to help them reach their goals.

There’s also no time limit: Fairbridge say they will be there for as long as it takes, and when participants are ready, and the programme will help them take the next step into work, education or training.

And Fairbridge is completely free – They even throw in lunch and drinks throughout the day, and can also cover travel expenses!

This is a worthwhile opportunity for young people get a step closer to achieving their personal goals, and provide them with the tools they need to move forward.

At the time of writing, the inductions to the Programme are currently taking place, but applications will still being taken for this unique programme which starts 21st August 2017, with further dates to be announced later in the season.
