Working to Help End Rough Sleeping – Government Cold Weather Fund Open for Applications, October 201

11-Oct-2019

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) are providing up to £1million of the Cold Weather Fund to national organisation Homeless Link with an aim to financially support local providers that help people sleeping rough off the streets this winter.

With a Look to administer and distribute funding to charitable organisations that are not commissioned by local authorities, Homeless Link are calling for applications to fund frontline organisations who are working to help end rough sleeping.

They are also looking to help organisations who can demonstrate how grant funding will reduce rough sleeping and offer longer-term solutions from people sleeping rough accessing these shelters, by supporting moves into accommodation, and sustainable longer-term accommodation for those moving off the streets.

Homeless Link advise that applicants much be registered charities/CIOs.

Opened recently, the deadline for applications is close on Friday 6th December 2019.

For more information and how to apply, visit the Homeless Link website.
