Working Within and Benefiting People in Kent and Medway – The Brook Trust fund through KCF

The Brook Trust is again making a call for applications from organisations or individuals working to benefit people in Kent and Medway.

The Brook Trust is an independent and privately-funded charity that works with other orgnisations by providing financial support for them to achieve positive social outcomes, using early involvement where possible, to better the disadvantaged, deprived and socially excluded.

Managed through the Kent Community Foundation (KCF), the Trust provide funding for community groups who work particularly with patrons such as the elderly, offenders, women’s groups, and parenting support for vulnerable families.

Grants of up £5,000 are available to local community groups and charities working to achieve positive social outcomes. The trust is especially interested in funding small grassroots groups with an annual income of below £100,000.

Open all year round, the scheme can be considered a Continuous Rolling Programme; although the Trust advise that applications for their next review should be completed by 31st May 2020, further dates are to be announced later this year.

For more information and how to apply, visit the KCF website.
