Your Chance to Become a Governor at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, July 2020

23-Jul-2020

Nominations are still being taken to become a Governor at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is holding elections to their Council of Governors, with vacancies in the Medway and Swale areas.

As well as representing the interests of their constituencies, the key role of governors is to make sure the Board fulfils the requirements of NHS Improvement - the Trust’s independent regulator - and acts in accordance with the Trust’s stated objectives.

The Council of Governors acts in an advisory capacity and by doing so, contributes to the long term plans and direction of the Trust.

The deadline for completed nomination forms is 5pm on Tuesday 28th July 2020.

If you are interested in standing as a Governor, and would like to know more, you can contact the Membership Office by email at met-tr.members-medway@nhs.net or call on 01634 825292.
