02-Nov-2020‘To Prepare, To Respond, To Recover’ - MVA now part of VCS Emergencies Partnership Local charity MVA is a recognised office, working together with other local and public groups and infrastructure organisa..

Welcome from the Chairman:

Welcome to the VCS leaders steering group area of the website, designed to give you a place of reference for all of the work that we undertake together as
we deliver events and actions on behalf of the wider network. This section of the website is restricted for your use only, and holds all of the important documents we refer to in the course of the year, our terms of reference for example and our processes for selection of members.

We have also placed here, the reference materials, so minutes and agendas of past meetings, as well as the agenda and resources from our successful events, always a good source of resource and inspiration.

A reminder that only signed off, PDF documents will be placed here, and the work in progress documents will be stored and edited elsewhere. If you want to have something uploaded you can do so via the MVA secretariat staff.

I hope this area of the website will give the steering group the resources it needs to help bind the work together, but also to help us all describe the impact of the network, detailing our history here in archive, as evidence of the power of effective networks.

Just outside this secure area for the steering group, is the general members area, which holds a blog of each of the steering group, and the new forum for use by the wider network, please feel free to promote this aspect of the site, and of course use it yourselves too. Again, this digital platform offers a real chance for us all to drive the full power of our network to achieve something quite remarkable.

John Norley
