Medway NHS Foundation Trust Annual General Meeting – September 2017

20-Sep-2017

Medway NHS Foundation Trust (Medway Maritime Hospital) has recently announced their Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be taking place this year at Medway Campus of Canterbury Christ Church University.

The Medway NHS Foundation Trust provides clinical services to nearly half a million patients a year.

The Trust say that this past year has been a significant and crucial one for the Trust: Given the progress that has been made in improving the care provided for the people of Medway and Swale; and most notably with the Trust exiting the Special Measures Regime in March.

The AGM provides an opportunity to look back on the last year, as well as talk about and explore how they are continuing to improve their services for the future.

The Trust also announced there will be special presentations on measures that have been put in place to address staffing shortages; also with the approaching anniversary of the Hospital going smoke-free, attendees will have the chance to hear how the Trust is working with public health colleagues to support people to give up smoking, particularly in pregnancy.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Medway NHS Foundation Trust will take place at 6pm on Tuesday 26th September 2017 in the Medway Campus of Canterbury Christ Church University, Chatham Maritime, ME4 4UF.

If you would like to attend, contact Hannah Puttock, Governance Assistant to the Trust, on 01634 825292 or by email at hannah.puttock@nhs.net.
